Rock Tomb On Aisle Three

This was just crazy... these pictures were taken at a supermarket by Koke's house. It just show's you how old this land is and how much history it has. When building the supermarket they decided to incorporate this rock tomb into the architectural landscape... and now it's at the end of the beverage aisle, right next to the bottled water... pretty funny.

Gozleme For Lunch

This is Gozleme, it was what I had for lunch yesterday. It was pretty awesome... the flat bread is handmade and most of the ingredients were taken from the garden in the back of the restaurant. The one in the picture had fresh parsley, spinach, green onions, and a little bit of feta like white cheese.

Bodrum Peninsula

Koke was busy yesterday finishing up the new house so his mom and her friend took me and an amazing drive around the Bodrum Peninsula. We stopped in Torba, Golkoy, Turkbuku, Yalikavek, Gumsuluk, and Turgut Reis. Here's a few of the pictures I took along the way.

Bodrum From Above

This is the view from Koke's old neighborhood. With the huge homes, winding hills, and great views... it kind of reminded me of the Hollywood Hills.

Koke's New Home

Koke with his lovely wife to be Yeliz. They will be getting married on Saturday July 30th.

Still a work in progress, but everything should be pretty much finished within the next few days.

Pide For Lunch

This is where we went to lunch the other day. We had Kusbasili Pide, (pronounced pee-de) which is kind of like a cross between pizza and a quesadilla... really tasty.

Bodrum, Turkey

This is the view from the terrace at Koke's mom's place in Bodrum. You can actually see the Greek Island Kos in the hazy distance.
